Women of Grace Around the World

Women of Grace World News!

Welcome to World News, our newest addition to Women of Grace Website. This page is to aide in continuing to connect women from around the world through the grace of Jesus Christ. I am excited and so blessed by testimonies that have been coming in as to what is happening in areas we know very little about. The Gospel is being told in remote areas and many are coming to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior. Praise be to His Name. We would like to share with you these testimonies and ask that you join in with us in praise and prayer for those that are giving sacrificially to minister to the Church around the world.
We also would like to invite you to share with us your story, testimony and prayer needs so we may continue to bridge the gap so others may find their way. Please email me at livingbygrace.com@womenofgracebridgingthegap.org
We will be featuring areas around the world and would like to add your area to encourage and strengthen others. Our first story comes from Kenya and two very dear servants of the Lord, Pastor's Paul and Susan Muema. We will continue throughout the month to add pictures and testimonies from these two servants of the Lord.  I know you will be blessed by their story, as I am. Be sure to check back for the updates.  Next to their story you will be able to leave personal comments, best wishes and prayers for those who are being featured. I pray that you will help us to encourage them. It can be very lonely for those that are following the call on their life.
Jesus commissions us to Go into all the world and preach the gospel (Matthew 28:19, 20) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
May we all do our part to bridge the gap so others may find their way... Blessings, Sheila Davis
    • Dear Sister Sheila Davis,

Receive much greetings from Pastor Paul & I.

May the Lord Bless you Saint of God, I know the steps of a righteous person are ordered of God. I see God in your response and I see great things God is about to do.

      Greetings in Jesus Name.

I visited your website and was so much blessed. Thank you for the good work of the Ministry, your thought of touching the hearts of women.

My name is Pastor Susan Muema from Nakuru Kenya. I do minister together with my husband at Gospel Community Church which we founded in 2003 and my husband is the Senior Pastor.

Thank you for your email and the kind words expressed, we too feel humbled and honoured to read from you.

We are blessed with two sons, Andrew 28 years old and Benjamin 23 years. They are in colleges. We have also two other boys who are in high school from needy families and we support them in their education and they live with us. Our Church began on 16th March 2003, after relocating from another City to Nakuru where we now live for the last 25 Years. We served in a bigger church where later on the Bishop released us as per our request to serve as God was directing us. Our church started experiencing tremendous growth. Four years ago the Lord enabled us to purchase a small Church Land and we later on started constructing our church as the Lord provided. We have seen God's faithfulness and after 7 years..on march 21st March, 2010, we had our 1st Church Sunday service on our new church site, it was a great day, we had no windows, doors, dusty floor and no seats. God continued to bless us, our Church Members gave sacrificially and today we have almost had all the very important urgent needs met. We have seen God bless, heal and change lives in our new Location, we hear testimonies every Sunday of what God has been doing in our City. We have prayed for people and we have seen God perform Miracles. Pastor Paul apart from being the founder and Senior Pastor of Gospel Community, is also the vice Chairman of the Nakuru Pastors fellowship which has over 200 Pastors who gather every Tuesday of the week to fellowship. I am also in the Pastors Wives Leadership in our city which gather once a month for breakfast prayer meeting and once in a while we gather women of the city from various churches for conferences and Leadership Seminars which are well attended. Our Slums are very highly populated where we have a lot of needs i.e spiritual, Medical and Hunger and shelter. Once in a while as God provides we do an outreach to these people by preaching to them and helping where we can. I can say the harvest is ready but workers are few. We had a powerful church on Sunday and our church was making history through God's Grace for the 1st time to have two Sunday Services (1st and 2nd Services) and it was a good moment of thanking God in what he was doing in causing many people to come to both services.

God bless you and lots of love.

      Yours in Christ.

      Susan.

Divine Healing Needed!

We received this prayer request from our dear Sister Susan in Kenya Nov. 15,2010. Please join me in prayer for this blessed child. Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever and by His Word this child will be healed. I pray it so. Please leave your prayer and encouragement in the [ Add Your Message Box ] which you will find above by Sister Susan's letter of introduction. What an awesome privilege we have to pray for one another. Thank you for joining us in prayer. May heaven be bombarded with petitions for this little one. Love, Sheila

Dear Sister Sheila

The Photo attached photo is for a girl aged 8 years old and she comes from a very poor family of a Single mother with 6 other children ages between 18 years and 3 weeks old..respectively.The mother and her children joined our church three months ago and we have discovered that they are extremely poor.

The Child on the Photo needs a divine healing, or operation to remove the growth which if left un attended, will grow then the Child's future is doomed.. Please pray i know when you pray something happens. None of the children goes to school, we are trying our best to assist where we can.

May the Lord Bless you.

Susan.

Paul and John from Kenya

Hi Sister Sheila,

Receive a photo of Paul Musyoka at home with a Red T. Shirt and with him is John.

John is our house help for the last eight years. His mother gave us John when he was very young and he had very bad behaviours. He joined himself to a naughty group of boys and refused to go to school. He smoked cigarates and drank alcohol and ran away from his home.

When John came to stay with us it was very hard changing his character to become a good boy. Once in a while he could take our money and bought himself cigarate to smoke. My husband and I prayed for him and agreed to accept Christ as his personal Saviour. We told him we were willing to take him to school and he completely refused. Naturally, John is a talented boy and he grew and changed in behaviour. Pastor Paul was so encouraged and two years ago he took him to a friend of his who has a driving school and requested him to let John learn how to drive even too he could not read and write. He agreed to do that and John now can drive and he managed to obtain a Driving Licence. He helps us in small errands to drive.

When Paul joined us this year in March and we took him to School, John decided that he also wanted to learn. He is twenty three years old and could not read and write. So we had to engage a kindergarden teacher to give him tuition at home everyday for one and a half hours. John now can write his name, can speak english, can read and most of all can read his bible.

John also knows how to play Keyboard and a bass guitar and once in a while in mini meetings in the church he plays.

These boys are a blessing to us. When you come to Kenya, you will meet them, they are part of my family members.

Thank you sister,

In-Christ,

Susan.

I would like to share with you a testimony of Paul Musyoka 20 yrs old. Paul came to Nakuru through us in the year 2008. In Africa because of poverty rate, many families cannot afford to take their children to school. A friend of ours requested us to get her somebody to work as a houseboy in her house. We requested our relative in our rural home to help us get somebody and that's when Paul Musyoka was brought our way.

We did not know much about Paul'background. When Rev. Glady took him to work at her home she discovered that Paul hae gone to school upto Grade 2 in high School (Form 2) and dropped out because of school fees. Rev. Gladys owns a school and in 2009 she decided to put him back to school. Paul had to repeat Form 2 because the standard of education in rural is lower than in Urban towns. He completed Form 2 in 2009 and in 2010 he went to Form 3 in 1st Term and Paul and I decided to bring Paul to our home to stay with us and we changed the School for him and Paul is now completing Form 3 by the end of this month and next year He will be completing his high School studies.

Paul is a great blessing to us. We do pay his school fees and take care of him fully. He loves the Lord and he is a very active member of our church teen dancers (GCC Dancers).

Paul testified with his own mouth to people that he has seen God in his life. He says he had lost hope in life and he never knew one day he would go back to school and learn. He believes that one day He will be a blessing to his very poor parents. He has one brother and one sister and he always prayers that they will also learn. He is a very bright boy and there is great hope for his future. Through our church, Paul has become a lively boy, and easily interacting with others. He helps to clean the church on Saturdays with other boys. Boys of his age actually are through with University but because of his background, there was a great delay, but we have hope and faith that he will make it. My husband and I are so proud of Paul.

May God bless you we shall continue to share many things. Say hi to your husband and friends.

Much love.

Susan.
